I am a wildlife photographer from the UK, who specialises in African wildlife, but has been fortunate to visit many parts of the world.

I’ve been a regular visitor to Africa over the last 15 years, particularly the Masai Mara in Kenya. The concentration of wildlife is incredible, but a huge part is just being there. The huge skies, the sounds of a huge variety of birds and insects during the day, the calls of lions and hyena at night. I have been met many wonderful people along the way, but especially my friend and guide James Nampaso, who set me up for so many of these images.

My photography predominantly tries to reflect animals in their environment and their behaviour. This may be through how small an elephant or giraffe can look under a big sky or the incredible colours at dawn and dusk.

I have spent time with a number of different big cats and have seen some of them with cubs, and later their cubs with their own cubs. This inevitably has resulted in me feeling a strong emotional attachment to those animals and I hope this is reflected in some of my photos.

I have also regained my passion for British wildlife. Whilst we don’t have an abundance of big mammals that feature elsewhere in the world, I am fortunate to live in an area where I can regularly enjoy photographing owls, hares and sea birds such as puffins and gannets.

I hope you enjoy my images. I will look to add to them through time and I will also feature photos on my Instagram, Vero and Facebook pages. If you are interested in any of the prints or have any questions, please do get in touch.

Thank you so much for visiting my website. I hope you enjoy these photos from wildlife experiences that have meant so much to me.
